League launches voter-registration drive
The League of Women Voters of Adams County is launching a voter-registration campaign in Adams County to engage new voters before the November election. The deadline to register to vote in Colorado is Tuesday, Oct. 9.
League volunteers will register students at:
• Front Range Community College in Westminster, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Sept. 17
• Front Range Community College in Brighton, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18
• DeVry University in Westminster, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 19
• Westwood College in Denver, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20
The organization’s goal is to reach 500 student registrations before the deadline. For information about how to register to vote and to learn more about the voting process, go online to www.VOTE411.org.
