Background: I am a Colorado Native and grew up in North Denver. I am a Mom and grandmother of three grandsons. I purchased a home in Northglenn 14 years ago, because my daughter wanted to play volleyball at Northglenn High School. I went to work at Grocery Warehouse as a checker 24 years ago where I began to get involved with working family issues.

I went on to become a union representative and political liaison for United Food and Commercial workers local 7 fighting for people that just want to go to work, make a decent living, have insurance and a secure retirement.

Building a council that listens to and is responsive to its citizens. Ensuring an adequate supply of affordable housing for our residents. Redeveloping the blighted areas.

Northglenn has a unique opportunity in these economic boom times to enhance our image as a warm, welcoming family oriented community hub that attracts businesses and residents from across the state.

To prioritize and incentivize developers who include affordable housing in their developments
