In its second annual meeting, a regional chamber review of the economy in the Metro North area will focus on four specific projects.
“We’re taking a new approach to this event in Year Two,” said Metro North Chamber President and CEO Gregg Moss. “It will be a deep-dive into four large projects that will be true game-changers for our region. These are progressive business developments that will further fuel the Metro North as the fastest growing region in Colorado.”
The Metro North Chamber of Commerce debuted the State of the Region breakfast in 2017, featuring mayors and elected officials from 11 cities and towns in the northern section of Denver’s metropolitan area and Adams County to discuss their past development successes and their plans for the future.
This year’s event will feature a presentations by experts and panels who will talk about four in the region: Aerotropolis, the 2,900 acre community planned for Aurora south of Denver International Airport; the Clear Creek Valley transit oriented development plan south of 64th Avenue and Pecos in Adams County; the City of Broomfield’s North Park developments along Baseline Road; and Westminster Downtown, the successor to the Westminster Mall being built along 88th Avenue.
Denver International Airport CEO Kim Day will give the keynote address, speaking about the Aerotropolis plan. She’ll be followed by panelists speaking about the other three projects.
The event runs from 7 to 11 a.m. March 15 at Broomfield’s 1stBank Center, 11450 Broomfield Lane in Broomfield
The event will also include booths for exhibitors and local businesses to meet with potential customers and partners, showcase their products and talk about their industries and plans.
