What is the city’s role in encouraging the development of quality housing that is available for affordable costs?At present Northglenn CR-83 provides and allocates funds for the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority in supporting qualified residential/rental properties for medium and low-income families and households. Additionally, I am concerned the so called “economic boom “ will displace and harm senior citizens living within a limited income. The home exemption is only a property tax relief approved each year by the Colorado Legislature! The City should be concerned and pursue future remedies to curtail the increase of homeless people already present in Northglenn.
