What profession or career do you want to pursue? Why?
I have always had a pretty big passion for cars since I was young. I want to get some certifications in business, such as small business management and finance, so that I may open my own garage when I am ready and run everything to my own standards and liking. I want my shop to be able to provide affordable services and repairs while also being able to tune and build custom cars. I want to possibly open up a youth program through my garage, once it is opened. The program would teach kids how to safely work on cars and also give information and insight on the automotive industry and what to do if they want to pursue a career in it.
What do you hope to accomplish in life?
I try not to think so far ahead, in all honesty. I plan what is needed but I believe that much of it is out of my hands. I try to live day by day, enjoying every moment of it, and doing right by as many people as I can. Life can be a mess, but it can also be beautiful. If you try planning and controlling everything, you miss out on many of its lessons and greatest moments. I just try to let the beautiful mess of life take me where it wishes and I will control what I can when the opportunities present themselves.
If I could do anything, it would be ...
To having a lasting positive impact on at least one person. I have a twist on wise words once said by Tupac Shakur. My version is: "Even if I am not the one who changes the world, I want to be the one that sparks the mind that changes the world." If I can do just that, my life will have been a success to me.
