Northglenn High School kicked off the season with an overwhelming 28-6 win over rivals Thorton Aug. 24 at Thorntons Five Star Stadium. The Norse jumped out to an early 14-0 lead in the matchup’s first quarter and then never let go of the lead.

Northglenn hosts the 0-1 Boulder Panthers at 7 p.m. Aug. 31. Thornton hosts the Delta Panthers at 1 p.m. Sept. 1 for that team’s season opener.
