Northglenn’s Softball team couldn’t match Poudre High Schools Impalas at a home game Aug. 28, falling to the visitors 12 runs to 5.

Poudre went up early, scoring seven runs in first two innings and never lost the lead. Northglenn narrowed the gap with a four-run fourth inning, but Poudre cemented their win with five additional runs in the fifth and sixth innings.

Northglenn continues its season at 4 p.m. Sept. 6 hosting Brighton. Poudre hosts Legacy at 10 a.m. Sept. 8.
