5:30-8:30 p.m. Dec. 1, Northglenn Recreation Center

Santa arrives to kick of the event that features carriage rides, music, indoor snowball fights, holiday cartoons in the theater and food and fun.

Westminster Holiday Lighting Ceremony

5:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 2, Westminster City Hall

Come watch City Hall get lit for the holidays featuring 1,000s of lights. There will be hay rides, live music, a bonfire and visits with Santa Claus.

Northglenn Olde Fashioned Christmas

Dec. 2 and 3, Stonehocker Farmhouse

Event includes visits with Santa, live music performances throughout both days and food and gifts for sale.

Pictures with Santa

Advent Lutheran Church, 7979 Meade St., will host free pictures with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus from noon-2 p.m. Dec. 3. There will also be free refreshments and story reading. The event is open to the public.

Westminster Historical Society Hometown Christmas

6:30-9 p..m. Dec. 7 at 73rd and Osceola

Celebrate Christmas like the early settlers. Songs of the season, Santa, Christmas tree lighting by an honored local family, food and fun! Local galleries will be open.

Thornton WinterFest

Dec. 8-10, Carpenter Park Fields

Includes tree lighting ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 8, breakfast with Santa and WinterFest 5K Saturday and Santa’s Village and Holiday Marketplace throughout the weekend.

A Good Old Fashioned Redneck Country Christmas

Dec. 8-17 at D.L Parson’s Theatre

Play about a group of hunting pals try to play unlikely Wise Men to lost and pregnant stranger. Tickets are $14 for adults, $12 for youth and seniors.
