Over a dozen Adams 12 Five Star wrestlers competed in the CHSAA 5A State Championships, held last Thursday, Friday and Saturday at Pepsi Center in Denver. Both Horizon’s Alec Beltran (113 lbs.) and Legacy’s Joey Joiner (145 lbs.) reached final bouts in their weight classes, but lost. Overall, Pomona captured their fourth 5A team title in the past five years.
