A new annual membership program for Anythink Library supporters was launched in conjunction with Library Giving Day, a national fundraising initiative that encourages people nationwide to donate to their local public libraries, according to a news release.
The Anythink Foundation membership program provides an opportunity to recognize and support the library district’s impact in the community, the release says.
As a resource for everything from early literacy to entrepreneurship, the library is a hub that contributes to a healthy community, the release said. The foundation supports the library in its mission to open doors for curious minds by raising funds donated from the private sector, the release said.
“People are looking for opportunities to show their support for Anythink and the services they provide,” Anythink Foundation Chair Brian Hall said in the release. “This new membership is one important way that people can become a part of the extended Anythink family while giving back to the community.”
For $39 a year, new members will contribute to programs or services such as capital projects, public art, collections and special events. Participants in the membership program will also benefit from opportunities and invitations to special Anythink Foundation events. For information, visit anythinklibraries.org.
