AURORA -- Holy Family and Riverdale Ridge earned spots in this week's regional volleyball tournaments.

The Tigers have the 13th seed. They and Roosevelt High School will play at Thomas Jeffersoni High. The first match starts at 10 a.m., but the Tigers won't start until somewhere around 11:30 a.m.

Riverdale Ridge is making its first postseason appearance in school history. The Ravens take the 22nd seed to a tournament ay Cheyenne Mountain High School. Pueblo East is the other team in this tourney. The tourney begins at 9:30 a.m., but the Ravens' first match won't be until 11 a.m. or so.

It takes two wins to advance to the state 4A tournament next week.
