WESTMINSTER -- Liberty scored first, but Thornton scored more often and handed the Lancers a 33-14 defeat at District 12 North Stadium Oct. 15.

THS quarterback Isaiah Reese was 9-for-20 for 192 and three touchdowns. Miles Poole ran the ball 21 times for 138 yards and scored twice. Isacc Gomez caught two of Reese's touchdown tosses and finished with five catches for 84 yards. Poole caught Reese's other TD toss, a play that covered 56 yards.
