Employees at Starbucks Coffee at 144th Ave. and Delaware St. in Westminster joined three other  Colorado Starbucks and others nationwide in strike March 22.

Marrissa Aquila, one of the strikers, said the group arrived at the location early that morning and planned to stay there until noon. Then, they planned to drive as a group into Denver to go to the National Labor Relations Board to officially join the Starbucks Workers United labor union.

Pamphlets the group distributed to those who stopped at the coffee shop's drive-through said they were seeking guaranteed hours, a cleaner store and safer and better working conditions.
