Legacy High School had to cancel nine events -- two in girls wrestling, the reamining five games of girls basketball and two in girls swimming -- because of coronavirus quarantining.
The swim meets were against Mountain Range Feb. 27 and against Horizon Feb. 23. The wrestling cancellations were a four-way meet at Legacy Feb. 27 and a dual meet against Douglas County Feb. 23.
The basketball games were the Feb. 24 game against Fort Collins, the Feb. 26 contest against Fossil Ridge, the March 1 game against Arvada West, the March 3 game against Rocky Mountain and a March 5 game against Poudre.
The impact on the wrestling and swim seasons is unclear. Regional wrestling tournaments are March 5 and 6. The class 5A state swim meet is Thursday, March 11. The basketball season ends March 6, and the state playoffs begin the week of March 9.
The Feb. 25 match between Legacy and Mountain Range was called off because of snow and the Adams 12 School District's decision to cancel classes for the day.
