New Legacy Project Presenting Free Concert in Alamosa
Nashville, Tenn - Cutting edge Christian artists, New Legacy Project, will be in concert on Saturday, June 22, 11 am, at Church of God Seventh day in Thornton. Formerly known as the Blackwood Legacy, the Nashville-based recording artists are on tour throughout Colorado this Spring.
Early this year Daywind Records released NLP's newest breakout song "I’ll Stand,” to radio. I'll Stand was written by tenor singer, Paul Secord, and was inspired by the growing number of US Veterans and their families who aren't able to find support as they struggle through illnesses and mental health issues as a result of their service.
The group’s single "I’ll Stand” is being placed in the hands of our Veterans, along with a letter of thanks, a bible, and other valuable resource information. NLP is working with churches across the US to deliver these "thank you" packages into Veterans Hospitals and care homes.
NLP owner, Rick Price, says "We just want to express our love and appreciation for the men and women who have defended us without thought of their own comfort or safety. They are the ones who give us the freedom to do what we do every day -- worship with complete freedom in our great Nation. You can’t give enough to out give their sacrifice.”
Church of God Seventh day is located at 9375 Gaylord Street. Admission is free and a love offering will be received for the group. It is recommended you come early for best seating. You can call the church at 303-428-6000 for more information or visit the group's website.
