Northglenn’s Food Truck carnival will be returning after a two-year hiatus on May 13, 14 and 15 at E.B. Rains Jr. Memorial Park.
More than 65 trucks will be coming throughout the weekend. Not only food trucks, but music and an entire carnival will also be there with around 20 rides, said Steven Stokes, event supervisor at the City of Northglenn.
“In the end, it's a festival,” Stokes said. “There are a lot of options for people between music, food and the carnival.”
The event started in 2016 but was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Stokes said.
There will be 20-25 food trucks daily offering a plethora of different tastes, including barbeque, tacos, vegetarian, vegan and more. Each day will host different trucks, so attendees can come back to check out new foods throughout the weekend. A complete list can be found online at

Alcohol will also be available, and four breweries and one distillery will be in attendance. Those are Bruz Beers, Odyssey Beerwerks, Satire, Someplace Else Brewery and Mystic Mountain. The festival also features other trucks including an Anythink Bookmobile, Bone Apatreat for dogs, Delilah’s Fashion Truck.
For music, the main stage will host multiple bands each day. Scheduled acts include Class Clayton Band, Jacob Larson Band, Cup A Jo, Better Sensory Perception, Los Moccohetes, Hot Lunch Band, Latin Sol Band and Dotsero Band.
To celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander month — which is in May — the Diversity, Inclusion and Social Equity Board will be host a separate stage specifically for performers from that ethnicity on May 15.
There is no cost to attend the festival, but a carnival pass costs $35. Community Center Drive will be closed throughout the weekend, and people are encouraged to ride their bike, take the bus, walk or rideshare. For those driving, the best parking is at the Wagon Road RTD Parking Lot at 120th and Huron streets.
