The Community Reach Center is once again accepting nominations for the Mary Ciancio Memorial Distinguished Service Award, an award and dinner that focuses on outstanding community volunteers.

The Mary Ciancio Memorial Distinguished Service Award honors the memory of Mary Ciancio, a community volunteer who championed mental health care in Adams County. Her efforts benefited thousands of Adams County residents living with mental and physical challenges. This award has been presented annually to an outstanding Adams County volunteer by the Community Reach Center Foundation Board since 1980.
All nominees will be honored, and the winner will be announced at a special celebration dinner on Wednesday, April 10, at Stonebrook Manor, 650 East 124th Ave., Thornton CO, 80241.
Past recipients include Nancy McNally in 2018, Nancy Skeels in 2017 and Evelyn Schroth in 2016.
