LAKEWOOD -- Holy Family's 4-by-100-meter relay team advanced to tomorrow's finals after the second day of the state 3A track-and-field meet.
THe foursome posted the second-fastest time in the preliminary race June 25. The finals are at 3:40 p.m. June 26.
Brody Welch, who won the shot put yesterday, took fourth in the discus with a top throw of 139-6.
Skylar Hawk moved to the finals of the girls 300-meter hurdles. She turned in the fastest prelimianry round time of 45.22 seconds. The finals are at 2:10 p.m. Saturday, June 26.
