Thornton students earn academic honors

Aleksandrea Elizabeth Johnson, Rachel N. Roberts
Wellington, Hannah Mae Peterson and Benjamin S. Wiebers all were named to the dean’s and dean’s freshman honor roll for the spring semester at the University of Wyoming in Laramie. The honor roll consists of regularly enrolled undergraduates above freshman standing who earned a 3.4 or better grade-point average, and freshmen who have earned a 3.25 or better grade-point average.

To be eligible, students must have been enrolled for a minimum of 12 credit hours taken for letter grades.


James Alan Chestnut, Stacia Burke Slowey
and Jennifer Ann Wade all earned a 4.0 grade-point average and were named to the president’s honor roll at the university.

The University of Wyoming is the state’s only four-year higher-education institution.

Emily Ann Luhrs was named to the president’s honor roll for the spring semester at the University of Oklahoma in Norman. To qualify for the presidents honor roll, students must be enrolled full time and earn a 4.0 grade-point average.

Neil Steeno was named to the honor roll at the university. To qualify for the honor roll, students must earn a 3.5 grade-point average or better.

The University of Oklahoma is a public research university founded in 1890.
